Play "School Bag"
This play was extremely good. It held my attention throughout the whole thing. Usually in plays once in a while it may loose my attention but this kept my attention at a constant. The areas in which the dramam got really intense was really great. the stage setting was good it went according to play. the characters were well in character they played their parts very well. the sound system wasn't 100% the sounds were up and down and very deffective which should have been dealt with. The play spoke and illustrated a lot about some seriously real problems that are affecting teenagers in schools all over. Situations like drugs, sex, peer pressure, and even love. These situations occur in students life everyday in school and they dont know how to deal wit the problems when they occur they lie, they cheat, they join gangs thinking it would help without knowing it make things worse to deal with. This play help put all that into perspective it gives a lot of ways in which not to handle these situations. The play really touched me to know that there are people that are out there being troubled by different trials in life and need help and is afraid to speak out. The custume in the play was very real it was realistic and potrays everything that occurs it was very interesting. The play on a whole was very interesting to watch and it was very touching and heart changing. It just lets you know bringing people down, critisizing and judging people doesnt help anything. Understanding people and their differences would help sitting down and talking and listening really helps make a difference. This play potrays all that is needed to be learnt and that things and people shouldnt be judged on what is being seen on the outside but whats truly on the inside.

shakespeare questions
Q1 A. The society of woman in shakespearean days is very different to today. The role of the women in those days was to beckon to every need and wants of the man in those days. The women were to be very loyal and obedient and had no say ikn anything and must never disagree to anything the man says. If ever they were to go against the mans word she would be greatly punished and regarded as being very disrespectful.
Q2 A. The importance of being a man inn those days were that the man was the bread winner of the house hold. The men must always be respected and never be looked upon as the same level as anyone else especially a women. Men are the ones that mostly rule and are respected and are the ones that go out to defend their country which in todays worlds anyone male and female have been allowed to go and fight wars and defend their country or go and represent them in importants meetings etc.
Q3 A. The character that goes against the way women are suppose to act ib shakespearean days is Beatrice. This is a woman who stood up for her rights and spoke her mind. She defends herslef and alll women in those days that couldnt find the courage to defend themselves in fear of their men living in the household. Beatrice wasn't afraid to say when Benedick was wrong and was not afraid to tell him what she thought about him even if it was insultive. In those days women were not suppose to do that it was considered as morally incorrect and disrespectful to the men of the household.

Desparation of brother man
The dsesparation in brother man could be seen when cordilia wanted her son to get better and she went through everything and after she realised it was going as quick and smoothly as she wanted it to she got very desparate and turned to obeah which was a very bad choice. desparation can also be seen with Minette trying to get brother mans attention. She is soo desparate for him to notice her the way she notices and sees him that it drives her mad and angry and wishes there was something she could do or say to make him realise quicker so they both could be happy. Brother Man novel is full of a lot of desparation.

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING!!!
Q- The savage bull may, but if ever the sensible Benedick bear it, pluck off the bulls horns and set them in my forehead, and let me be vilely painted and in such great letters as they write "Here is good horse to hire" let them signify under my sign "Here you may see Benedick , the married man"
A- This is saying that when Benedick was saying he is not getting married and that what he said in the beginning that he was not going to get married then eventually he does get married adn he gets married to Beatrice which is making a mockery of himself.
Q- What should i do with him - dress him in my apparel and make him my waiting gentle woman? He that hath a beard is more than a youth, and he that hath no beard is less than a man; and he that is more than a youth is not for me, and he that is less than a man I am not for him.
A- The person that spoke these words is Beatrice. The significance for saying this is that she is saying the same exact same thing as Benedick and in the end just lie benedick and ironically she ended up getting married to Benedick. She is saying that practically there is no man out there to please her liking because the men are either too young or too old for her and she wold prefer to stay single.

The symbolic of Brother Man
the symbolic of brother man could be compared to jesus christ. There are few examples of these on page 74-75 where he shows godly ways by buying the crab from the little boy explaining that no creature deserves to be drapped or tied up like that cause every living thing had feelings. Another example is 175-181 is when the people of the village which he helped and preached to began to stone Brother Man nearly to the point of death, just like jesus was truned upon by the people he healed and helped and preached to turned against him and was thes to shout crucify him.
Its also symbolic when it comes to superstiton when Jesmina lost her earring and said it was bad luck and also page 70-72 when Brother Man saw the "old Mag" and was told that depending on if she gives you a greeting or a curse you will either be blessed or cursed forever. These scenes are very symbolic for the book "Brother Man"

Much ado about nothing
This title is about the conflict in which that there are a lot of disagreement and argument over nothing in the book. Like Beatrice and Benedick they argue over non sensical things and so does Claudio and Hero argue over small things that need no arguemnt over which just takes up time and just makes no sense. The title simply means that the main ideas and events in the play revolve around conflict and disagreement between nearly almost everyone in the play/skit. The title simply explains that there are a lot of disagreement and contention between almost all the characters in the play all about nothing.
